Most UK universities require IELTS 6.0–6.5 overall (with no band below 5.5 or 6.0). However, some universities accept TOEFL, PTE Academic, Duolingo or their own in-house English tests. international students who completed their A-levels in English may also qualify for an English language exemption at some institutions. CAS stands for Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. It is a reference number issued by your UK university after they confirm your place. You cannot apply for a UK Student Visa without a CAS. We liaise with universities on your behalf to secure this quickly.

For a UK Student Visa, you must show: tuition fees for year 1 + £1,334/month for living costs (London) or £1,023/month (outside London) × 9 months. This must have been in your account for at least 28 consecutive days before you apply. We calculate the exact amount for you.

Yes — UK Student Visa holders can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during vacations (if your course is at degree level or above at a university). Below degree level, the limit is 10 hours. Work rules differ for other countries — we explain these in your pre-departure briefing.

The general minimum salary is £38,700/year (as of April 2024). However, some shortage occupation roles and new entrant positions have lower thresholds. The Health and Care Worker route has different salary requirements. We calculate your exact points and salary threshold before you apply.

Yes — for most work visas (UK Skilled Worker, German Blue Card, Australian 482, etc.), your spouse/partner and dependent children under 18 can apply as dependants. We handle both your main visa and your family's dependent visas together to ensure consistency.

For most work visa routes, yes — you need a genuine job offer from a licensed sponsor. However, some routes (Germany Opportunity Card / Chancenkarte, UK Global Talent, Australia SkillSelect) allow you to enter first and then seek employment. We advise on which route fits your situation.

As of April 2024, the UK-based sponsor must earn at least £29,000/year (rising to £38,700 in future). This can be from employment, self-employment, pension or savings above a certain threshold. If the sponsor earns below the threshold, alternative evidence of exceptional circumstances may be considered. We calculate this carefully for every case.

Standard processing is approximately 8 weeks from the biometrics appointment. Priority service (additional fee paid to UKVI) takes approximately 5 working days. Super priority (same/next day decision) is also available for some applicants.

Yes — a refusal does not permanently bar you from reapplying, but you must declare all previous refusals on future applications. The key is understanding exactly why you were refused and addressing those specific reasons. Simply reapplying with the same documents almost always results in another refusal.

An Administrative Review (AR) is a Home Office check of whether the original decision-maker made an error. It is not a full re-examination of your case. You have 14 days (out-of-country) or 28 days (in-country) to request one. It costs £80. We read your refusal letter and advise whether an AR or a fresh application is the better option.
